Master of the Home

It strikes my mind yesterday, I can be so close in finishing the home mortgage by the end of 2009! After placing the deposit in year 2001 and moving in in 2004, there was once I was stressed by the huge mortgage, being trap as a slave of the house. This year, I realised I can reach my dreams of completing the mortgage and be a true true master of the Home.

This will be a milestone in my life.

And for the time being, I will not upgrade to another new apartment this year probably and also due to my new job, and other reasons, I will be a very satisfied man this year.

My favourite dish of Chinese New Year

While it may not be the healthiest food, it is the tastiest to me, with a sweet tongue. Every Chinese New Year, I would look forward to this dish as it is a dish with friends and symbolises good luck, prosperity and nice wishes, with a good positive note for the coming year. I already took my first yesterday, and I do look forward to more of it in the coming 15 days!

The next other dish that I like is of course, the 年糕. I used to like to stock it up in the freezer and so that I can have it round the year.....silly but always so so nice!

Blur Blur

I was listening to my iphone on the train to meet G-san, and I was listening to one of my favorite song 同窗会. It was a ballad by a late singer. Suddenly, while I listened, I realised her voice disappeared, and I was wondering if Ipod has a karaoke function that makes the singer voice disappeared (which I later discovered that there is no such function). I listened to the song a few times and felt creepy. Later that evening, I shared my experience with G-san, and guess what (?), my earpiece was loose! :) And I felt so embarrassed at my blur-ness suddenly :)

Blessed Mid January

I dare not expect much for 2009, but with the tons of "add oil" and blessings, there appears so much "bonuses and gifts" (not the monetary type) and bonds that have been created. I am contented with my life, thankful of what I have, and lastly, I want my loved ones and those around me to be happy, able to achieve the meanings of life, and keep laughing together!

Karaoke Nite For.... Just One Song

I sang 4 times, G-san sang 4 times, which means the same song was sang 8 times tonight.

And the song is none other than......鍾無艷 by Kay Tse.

Over night, we became one-hit wonders.

That's all but both of us enjoyed it!

My First Fiery Dish in 2009

.... and it is cooked in a different style. I am delighted that it is well-received. It will improve further :) .... watch out!

Saturday Nights ..... Cool, Quiet, Cozy Always

I love Saturdays as it is a day I meet my friends, have good meals, exercise (jog or swim) and tidy the house (yes I enjoyed it). I need to mention on Saturday nights, after all the above activities. I love to stay up late til the wee hours at home, and laze by the window on my beanbag, watching tv or talking to friends on the laptop. It is cool, it is quiet, and the home is cozy, always..... shhhhh..... someone is asleep now :)

Though I am really into canto-pop these days, a chinese song kept popping into my head.....终于找到心有灵犀的美好, 一辈子暖暖的好 (小酒窩)....


But I do not wanna sleep..... because I enjoy the quietness and coziness of the night at home.....
