Blessed Mid January

I dare not expect much for 2009, but with the tons of "add oil" and blessings, there appears so much "bonuses and gifts" (not the monetary type) and bonds that have been created. I am contented with my life, thankful of what I have, and lastly, I want my loved ones and those around me to be happy, able to achieve the meanings of life, and keep laughing together!

Karaoke Nite For.... Just One Song

I sang 4 times, G-san sang 4 times, which means the same song was sang 8 times tonight.

And the song is none other than......鍾無艷 by Kay Tse.

Over night, we became one-hit wonders.

That's all but both of us enjoyed it!

My First Fiery Dish in 2009

Saturday Nights ..... Cool, Quiet, Cozy Always

I love Saturdays as it is a day I meet my friends, have good meals, exercise (jog or swim) and tidy the house (yes I enjoyed it). I need to mention on Saturday nights, after all the above activities. I love to stay up late til the wee hours at home, and laze by the window on my beanbag, watching tv or talking to friends on the laptop. It is cool, it is quiet, and the home is cozy, always..... shhhhh..... someone is asleep now :)

Though I am really into canto-pop these days, a chinese song kept popping into my head.....终于找到心有灵犀的美好, 一辈子暖暖的好 (小酒窩)....


But I do not wanna sleep..... because I enjoy the quietness and coziness of the night at home.....

First weekend of the year! It smells so good, while I missed the cold winter, especially sipping a nice cup of afternoon tea in a cafe during winter, I want to enjoy the hot sun today!

As usual, Saturday starts off with Breakfast with G-san (& Pooh-san today), and then with my routine housework (I always love a cozy nest), I wanna go for a swim! Yeah a hot afternoon swim! Never mind my belly never mind my fats! I wanna enjoy the sun! And I will do my 30 min run at the gym...... tonight, I will meet my good friends for dinner :) Hmmmm.... beautiful day.... beautiful spirits!

My life so far in 2009

It has been a good start, in 2009, I have made good friends and have also managed to catch up with some of old friends during breakfasts, lunches and dinners. In addition, I have also found a little brother in E-boy from HK who has made me laughed and introduced to me many Canto-songs recently. Suddenly, I felt young again after hanging with the HK folks for a week. I can feel their energy and passion!

G-san today asked me what are our travelling plans this year..... hmmmmm....... the choices are many, and it is difficult to make decisions this year. I dare not discuss this topic, because it is a difficult choice. Will it be eating Tim Sum at London Bridge which is falling down?

Despite knowing that this year will have its challenges, it will be an interesting one this year. I should have been more optimistic and in certain way, things are brighter than I expect :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR ..... IT IS A NEW START FOR ALL AGAIN!

I have settled down since returning from Hong Kong on 1 Jan 2009. This is the first time I spent New Year in Hong Kong at a pub with a FURRY theme and then at a Karaoke lounge, which lasted til 5 in the morning. Hong Kong is different this time, perhaps due to the fact, that I met quite a few friends this trip and ate many good food. In the end, I ended up 2 kg more. What is most important, I enjoyed myself with G-san. With the several midnight karaoke sessions, suddenly, my interest in Canto-pop resurrected miraculously :)

While we are stepping into 2009, it is crucial to have resolutions. One of mine is to work hard and play hard. While 2009 may be a year with obstacles for many, let's take each day at a time, live meaningfully and stay positive / happy will be the right avenue. Gambarimasho,
