Beautiful Saturday..... Beautiful Spirits :)

First weekend of the year! It smells so good, while I missed the cold winter, especially sipping a nice cup of afternoon tea in a cafe during winter, I want to enjoy the hot sun today!

As usual, Saturday starts off with Breakfast with G-san (& Pooh-san today), and then with my routine housework (I always love a cozy nest), I wanna go for a swim! Yeah a hot afternoon swim! Never mind my belly never mind my fats! I wanna enjoy the sun! And I will do my 30 min run at the gym...... tonight, I will meet my good friends for dinner :) Hmmmm.... beautiful day.... beautiful spirits!

My life so far in 2009

It has been a good start, in 2009, I have made good friends and have also managed to catch up with some of old friends during breakfasts, lunches and dinners. In addition, I have also found a little brother in E-boy from HK who has made me laughed and introduced to me many Canto-songs recently. Suddenly, I felt young again after hanging with the HK folks for a week. I can feel their energy and passion!

G-san today asked me what are our travelling plans this year..... hmmmmm....... the choices are many, and it is difficult to make decisions this year. I dare not discuss this topic, because it is a difficult choice. Will it be eating Tim Sum at London Bridge which is falling down?

Despite knowing that this year will have its challenges, it will be an interesting one this year. I should have been more optimistic and in certain way, things are brighter than I expect :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR ..... IT IS A NEW START FOR ALL AGAIN!

I have settled down since returning from Hong Kong on 1 Jan 2009. This is the first time I spent New Year in Hong Kong at a pub with a FURRY theme and then at a Karaoke lounge, which lasted til 5 in the morning. Hong Kong is different this time, perhaps due to the fact, that I met quite a few friends this trip and ate many good food. In the end, I ended up 2 kg more. What is most important, I enjoyed myself with G-san. With the several midnight karaoke sessions, suddenly, my interest in Canto-pop resurrected miraculously :)

While we are stepping into 2009, it is crucial to have resolutions. One of mine is to work hard and play hard. While 2009 may be a year with obstacles for many, let's take each day at a time, live meaningfully and stay positive / happy will be the right avenue. Gambarimasho,

Merry Christmas Eve!

I love Christmas, particularly Christmas eve night, when you have your wonderful friends with you for a nice meal and cozy gathering. It must be the most important evening for me, for the entire year. And even more important than my own wedding. I can always smell the love, friendship and fun under the Christmas Tree!

Those are the food we have and some pictures I have taken. I can't wait for the next one to come!

Hmmm, time to control spendings :)

Today there was an Ermenegildo Zegna sale in my office building of up to 70%. I can't help but bought a shirt, nothing too expensive. Then I realised I bought another white elephant :) It is ok but in turbulent times like this, it is better to hold cash than white elephants. Next time, I will control bah :)

Life has certainly many ups and downs. All the rainy seasons will come to a stop, and we are not alone. So let's not get too worried and upset as they are not within our controls. Let's hold our hands together and celebrate this Christmas happily :)

My words to a lost friend and another wonderless teenage girl

Both of you are smart people, but you refuse to see what is ahead. You knew the obstacles ahead, but you chose take the easy way. You have the sword in your hands, but you tend to let your inner-self betray you. Many have succeeded in overcome their own problems and rise to be successful in their lives, so can you. Provided you try! Your future is bright, but don't avoid it because you are not the ones who have the downs of the day.

For me, I will also take the remaining weeks of this year to do some soul-searching and ensure another good year in 2009. Gambarimasho.
